KRISTY TURNER Museum Manager/Curator and has a BSc (Hons) degree in Textiles and Design. Kirsty enjoyed an exciting career as a fashion buyer, travelling the world and creating ranges for various high street stores. In 1998she moved to Cornwall and has been involved in property renovation, interior design, holiday letting and owning a successful restaurant with her partner. For 5 ½ years she was House Steward at Castle Drogo and gained a great deal of knowledge through the wonderful National Trust training courses. She now uses this knowledge to care for our Museum and to make it an amazing place to visit for local and overseas visitors

TALK: The history of the Museum of Dartmoor Life and the secrets of curation. The Museum of Dartmoor Life is a gateway to the rich history of Dartmoor. Situated in a cobbled courtyard in Okehampton, the museum exhibits a vast collection of objects spanning 5,000 years of life on Dartmoor from the Bronze Age through to the mid-20th Century.
