Our cinema seats 200 people, and is in a beautifully restored stone building - a far cry from the "shoeboxes" of so many modern cinemas. The Wharf cinema is equipped with state of the art equipment, including full Dolby surround sound with a dynamic "earthquake" sub bass system for those blockbusters. It is surprising to many that good sound can be very exciting and compliment your enjoyment of a film - without being too loud!

If you haven't been to the cinema for some time, we all know that many films appear on satellite TV these days, but you just can't beat the sheer dynamics of a big screen with surround sound. Come to The Wharf for a really enjoyable experience.

After popular demand, we are forming a Wharf Film Club to be held at regular intervals, for the enjoyment of some of the classics. We can order films at members' requests and share the enjoyment of many famous and classic films not passed on to the television companies.
